- The Cardinals suffered a frustrating 6-4 loss on Monday night that left them 3 games behind the Brewers and just 1/2 game ahead of the Rockies in the wild-card race with five games to play. Jose Martinez and Marcell Ozuna homered off Josh Hader, but the bullpen could not hold a 4-3 lead. 

- Austin Gomber will get the start tonight in the second game of the series.

- Josh Allen is expected to make his pre-season debut for the Blues tonight when they host the Capitals at Enterprise Center. He is scheduled to play the first two periods.
