The Blues re-acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday in exchange for future considerations. Cracknell, who spent four years with the Blues, was assigned to Chicago of the AHL.

- On a busy Friday night during the first round of the NHL Draft, the Blues traded Jori Lehtera to the Flyers and Ryan Reaves to the Penguins and also made two draft selections.In exchange for Lehtera and the 27th pick in the draft the Blues obtained center Brayden Schenn. For Reaves, the Blues obtained center Oskar Sundqvist and the 31st pick in the draft.

- With their two draft picks, the Blues selected center Rob Thomas from London of the Ontario Hockey League and Russian forward Klim Kostin.

- A home run by Paul DeJong gave the Cardinals a lead going into the eighth inning Friday night, but the bullpen could not hold it as the Pirates rallied for a 4-3 win at Busch Stadium. David Freese tied the game with an RBI single off Trevor Rosenthal in the eighth and John Jaso then hit a go-ahead homer off Seung Hwan Oh in the ninth.

- Lance Lynn will get the start tonight in the second game of the series.
