- William Karlsson scored with 24 seconds left in overtime to give the Golden Knights a 3-2 win over the Blues Saturday night in Las Vegas, the Blues' first game against the expansion team. They had tied the game at 2 on a goal by Alex Piet5angelo with 5:08 left in the third period. The two goals in regulation by the Golden Knights both came on the power play after the Blues got the first goal of the game from Magnus Paajarvi.

- The Blues will be back at home to play Calgary on Wednesday night.

- The Missouri Tigers snapped their five-game losing streak on Saturday with a 68-21 win over Idaho in Columbia. Tigers quarterback Drew Lock led the team to a 34-point outburst in the first quarter en route to the much-needed victory. Lock passed for six touchdowns in the game , which Missouri led 51-14 at halftime.
