- The second-round series between the Blues and Predators will begin on Wednesday night at Scottrade Center, the NHL announced Sunday night. Game 2 will be on Friday night, both games starting at 7 p.m. 

- The bottom third of the Cardinals’ batting order, including pitcher Mike Leake, provided the majority of the team’s offense in a 6-4 win over the Brewers on Sunday in Milwaukee. Leake's bases-loaded single drove in two of the runs and Kolten Wong, Eric Fryer and pinch-hitter Matt Adams also came through with RBIs in the game. 

- The Cardinals return home for a day off today before beginning a 10-game homestand on Tuesday night with the first of three games against the Toronto Bluejays.
