B.J.'s farewell: Thanks St. Louis!

Thursday I’ll be heading off to Boise, Idaho, to begin a new chapter in my life as the Boise State beat writer for the Idaho Press-Tribune. Getting to cover a premier college football program like Boise State is something I’ve dreamed of doing and I can’t wait to get started. - In a week that saw games go awry at times, there were finally some positive developments for the Cardinals in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Giants at Busch Stadium, including another quality start from Adam Wainwright. Wainwright allowed just one run in 6 1/3 innings.

- An offense that had been limited to six runs in their previous 33 innings got untracked thanks to four RBIs from Randal Grichuk, three coming on a bases-loaded double in the second inning.

- After a day off today, the Cardinals will be in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to face Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers. The Cardinals have won their last nine road games, tied for the second longest streak in franchise history.
