2018 Monster Energy Supercross Championship Races into St. Louis
The most competitive off-road motorcycle racing championship in the world coming to The Dome at America’s Center

Saturday March 17th is the date for the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross race in St. Louis. The event will take place at the Dome at America's Center with ticket prices starting as low as $10.  The gates and pit party open at noon with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. and racing starting at 6:30. 

Vince Friese, the 28 year old racer from Cape Girardeau is Missouri’s connection to this race. He rides a Honda for SmarTop/MotoConcepts Racing Honda with Tony Alessi as his team manager and Jon Knake as his mechanic. He has finished as high as 16th in both 2016 and 17, so hopes to improve with a successful run at the St. Louis event.

As the most competitive and highest-profile motorcycle racing championship in the world, Monster Energy Supercross has entertained millions of fans for 43 years inside the most recognizable and prestigious stadiums in North America. For the first time in over two decades, the 2018 season will debut an all-new points system to evenly allocate points over all 22 finishing positions. While the gap between 1st, 2nd and 3rd has not changed, the new points system will ensure that the race to the championship will be much more competitive throughout the season as the reward is greater for a better finish.

The 2018 season will be the most exciting and entertaining of all-time as a new era of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, will change the battleground forever with a revised points system, the addition of three Triple Crown Monster Energy Cup-style events, two East/West 250SX Shootouts, four Supercross Amateur racing events and the elimination of semi races in qualifying for the Main Event.
