- The Blues should learn more about he status of forward Vladimir Tarasenko today. Tarasenko suffered an apparent leg injury in Monday night's loss to Vancouver. Nashville moved four points ahead of the Blues with a shootout loss to Vancouver Tuesday night.

- Adam Wainwright made his final start of the spring on Tuesday, working 6 2/3 innings in a 3-2 loss to the Marlins in Jupiter. Wainwright will make his third consecutive opening-day start, and fourth overall, Sunday night in Chicago against the Cubs.

- The Cardinals finalized their bench by announcing that both outfielder Randal Grichuk and infielder Pete Kozma will be on the 25-man roster for opening day, joining Tony Cruz, Mark Reynolds and Peter Bourjos.

- The Cardinals have two games remaining in Florida, both against the Mets. Carlos Martinez will start today's game in Port St. Lucie.
