- Goalie Martin Brodeur, who filled in for the Blues while Brian Elliott was injured, has decided to retire and will move into the Blues front office. A news conference is scheduled for Thursday.

- The Blues made another move on Tuesday night, trading forward Maxim Lapierre to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Marcel Goc, a 10-year NHL veteran. 

- The Blues will resume their season on Thursday night against Nashville at Scottrade Center. .
