MonDay, Aug. 3, 2015 

- Brandon Moss drove in the winning run with a pinch-hit single with one out in the ninth inning Sunday to lift the Cardinals to a 3-2 win over the Rockies at Busch Stadium.

- The hit drove in Jason Heyward, who had doubled with one out and advanced to third on an infield single by Randal Grichuk, who hit a two-run homer earlier in the game. The win completed a 7-4 homestand for the Cardinals as they remained 5 ½ games ahead of the Pirates in the NL Central.

- The Cardinals will enjoy a day off today before a six-game trip on Tuesday night to Cincinnati and Milwaukee.
