 - Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk stopped 36 of 37 shots by the Blues, including 19 in the third period, to carry the Wild to a 4-1 win Friday night in game five of their playoff series at Scottrade Center. The win put the Wild ahead three games to two in the series, with the Blues now needing to win Sunday in Minnesota to avoid being eliminated in the first round for the third consecutive year. Vladimir Tarasenko had the only goal for the Blues.

- Jason Heyward and Jhonny Peralta hit solo homers and Carlos Martinez pitched seven shutout innings to lead the Cardinals to a 3-0 win over the Brewers Friday night in Milwaukee. Yadier Molina had to leave the game after taking a foul tip off his right knee but said he was hopeful he would be able to play Saturday night.

- Adam Wainwright will make his fourth start of the season in the second game of the series tonight while Wily Peralta will start for the Brewers. 

- The University of Missouri announced Friday that the school's Board of Curators has approved a contract extension for football coach Gary Pinkel that runs through the 2021 season.
