 -The Blues will try to bounce back from their first-game loss to the Minnesota Wild when they play the second game of their first-round plsyoff series today at Scottrade Center. Jake Allen will again get the start in goal.

- Yadier Molina doubled with the bases loaded to break a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning Friday night and send the Cardinals to a 6-1 win over the Reds at Busch Stadium. Molina's hit made a winner of Michael Wacha, who had been locked in a pitching duel with Johnny Cueto.

- The Cardinals and Reds will play the second game of their weekend series today, with Carlos Martinez pitching against Homer Bailey, who will be making his 2015 season debut.
