 - For the third year in a row, the Blues season came to a disappointing end with a first-round exit from the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday. The Wild got two goals from Zach Parise and beat the Blues 4-1 to win the series in six games. It was also the third consecutive year the Blues were tied 2-2 after four games in the series and lost the next two games.

- The Cardinals will learn more about the extent of the injury to Adam Wainwright's left Achilles today but they are preparing for the possibility that it could end his season. Wainwright will undergo an MRI and further medical evaluation after getting hurt while he was batting in the fifth inning of Saturday night's game.

- The Cardinals lost 6-3 to the Brewers on Sunday as Lance Lynn allowed all six runs in five innings. The team returns to St. Louis to open an 11-game, 11-day home stand tonight against the Phillies. John Lackey will get the start against Cole Hamels.
