- Jack Flaherty did not allow a hit until Jesus Aguilar homered with one out in the seventh inning Friday and two innings later Aguilar homered again, this time off Bud Norris, to give the Brewers a 2-1 walkoff win over the Cardinals in Milwaukee.

- Flaherty tied his career-high with 13 strikeouts, becoming the first Cardinals pitcher to strike out 13 or more batters in two games in the same season since Bob Gibson in 1972. he homer was the first run he allowed in 16 1/3 innings.

- Miles Mikolas will get the start in the 3:10 p.m. game today.

- The Blues traded up from the 29th pick in the NHL Draft on Friday night to 25th and selected right winger Dominik Bokk from Sweden. In the deal with Toronto for the pick the Blues gave up picks 29 and 76 in this year's draft.
